The Project

After a two year hiatus, vidcon returned to california in 2022 with tiktok as it’s premier sponsor, giving the brand a huge footprint to activate in. the ask was to create an immersive vip lounge for their top tier creators to escape the bustle of vidcon and relax together with their peers. i wanted to bring the rich culture of tiktok into the real world, which led me to the concept of digital tech meets organic matter. The juxtaposition of those two worlds served as a north star as I set out to render the space. I served as the main creative on the project, setting the overall tone and plan for the space, creating 3D renders of the world, and working with the fabricator to bring the vision to life. Once the build began, I was on site supervising the build as well as playing the client lead throughout the activation, which lasted 4 days. We were also responsible for the creative build and execution of the tiktok creator party, which we held at a venue in anaheim and hosted over 700 guests. Ultimately, the creator atrium and the House party were a huge sucess, bringing to life the exciting and creative world of tiktok.
